Kentucky Colonel

A few weeks ago my good friend and business associate Sean Stafford asked me if I wanted a Kentucky flag. Of course with most things political things getting our flags proved to be a little more tedious than we anticipated with certain political offices giving us the run around while other just gave us a [...]

TI is well on his way to becoming the first down-south rapper turned music mogul with all of the new additions he’s enhancing his Grand Hustle roster with. Though BG has yet to release an album since signing to Atlantic in late 06 TI was still instrumental in bringing the Hot Boy to the current leading rap label. Over the course of the past year TI also managed to pull in legendary duo Eightball & MJG into the Grand Hustle ring. Just today news has surface that the King of the South may be in preliminary talks with both Young Buck and Killer Mike to get the two quality MCs on the team.

“Buck is a personal partner of mine,” Tip responded when asked about the possibility of Young Buck joining Grand Hustle. “We’ve spoken, about a month or two ago, but we didn’t iron out no particulars. I would definitely be willing to speak to Buck about that, but I haven’t.”

Even though Young Buck was ousted from G-Unit earlier this year he is still contractually obligated to drop at least one more album under 50’s watch.

“I haven’t even started the conversation with, ‘What would it take to get you over here,’” Tip said. “That’s just the conversation that’s been floating around the rumor mill. When I spoke to him, it was more, ‘Hey, how you doing?’ speaking as partners. We didn’t speak professionally. Just him making sure I was all right. Him asking me how I’m feeling, me asking the same of him.”

“Killer Mike, on the other hand, I have been speaking to about connecting and moving forward professionally together,” “Mike is an outstanding lyricist and phenomenal talent and very intelligent individual. We get along very well. Always have. It’s a real organic fit.”
