Is it just me or is everyone else just about fed up with all these weak ass rap beefs. It seems like right now that all the wrong rappers seem to be beefing. For instance Rick Ross and 50 Cent are having a little war of words over nothing. First off, both of them are fake as fuck. Rick Ross used to be a damn corrections officer. I don’t know about you, but to me there’s nothing at all gangsta about a corrections officer. This aint Training Day fatboy! 50 Cent on the other hand is an alleged snitch. I’m not here to prove guilt or innocence but people have alleged that Barry Bonds used steroids for years and as of yesterday we all see where that case is heading.

The other wanna be ass beef that’s seems to be making hip hop headlines is this shit between Joe Budden and Saigon. I actually have some respect for Saigon but dude has yet to put out an album. To my calculations you’re not really a rapper if you’ve been rapping for over five years and you haven’t managed to drop an album. It’s just the way I feel. Joe Budden on the other hand has put out an album and it was so weak that I never took the time to even listen to it. I’m sorry but that “Pump, Pump, Pump It Up” shit was enough to make sure he never gets any play in my shit. This beef is irrelevant because you just got two sorry ass niggas bickering back and forth to each other.

Web 2.0 gives random, everyday ass people too much of a chance to get at other random, everyday ass people. I mean, I could call myself a rapper, get me a blue or red bandana, say I’m gang related and get my momma to film me talking shit about the nigga next door and call it a rap beef. I can promote my beef on youtube, this website, my other websites, facebook, myspace, and I could even send it to some of my internet thug homies. Bam, I got an all out internet beef.

On the flipside of all the conventional beefing going on you have Lil Kim and Ms. Voletta Wallace starting to have a beef. What the fuck is that all about? Lil Kim is supposed to be upset because they made her look like a slut in Notorious… no bitch, your album covers made you look like a slut. Letting everybody in the rap industry run through you makes you look like a slut. What kind of a damn rapper has beef with an R&B singer and a deceased rapper’s moms.

In 2008 I was utterly upset at the direction that rap was going and now in ’09 it seems as though I might have to quit fuckin with that shit all around. I won’t stand around and listen to fake ass rapper have disagreements and actually buy into the bullshit. I’m not saying that we need another east coast / west coast beef or anything. It would just be nice to see some actual worthwhile rappers beef for a change!
