As previously reported, the Hot Boyz are getting back together and now B.G. is saying it was all Lil Wayne’s idea. “It’s gonna be all the original members, it’s gonna be me, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk is supposed to be coming home March 16th,” B.G. said in an interview. “We’re gonna do it regardless because the streets keep asking for it…Mannie Fresh created the Hot Boyz sound; it’s only right that Mannie Fresh gives us that heat…Wayne made the deal; he came to us. He had a deal for a soundtrack, and he wanted to make it a Hot Boyz soundtrack. He reached out to me and Juvenile…Before the reunion album, we’re gonna’ do an album which is inspired by a motion picture.” Back in 2007, Hot Boyz member Turk talked about the break up and reunion saying “As far as the Hot Boys being broken up for a minute, it was nothing more than a family fallout,” Turk said in a statement. “Lil’ Wayne, B.G. and Juvie are my brothers for real. Everything is back to the way things should be right now and that I look forward to joining the group and being heavily involved in the forthcoming Hot Boys reunion project. Expect this album to go down as a classic in hip-hop history.”
