Yesterday I saw something on ESPN that moved me. I’m not quite sure how I feel about it but nonetheless it was very interesting to me. What was it I’m sure you may ask. It was Bruce Pearl rapping his ass off at some UT pep rally, or whatever the hell they call their selves doing in that state. I’m guessing that since John Calipari took the Kentucky job that old man Pearl isn’t going to leave any stone unturned throughout his recruiting trail.
I must say that I give the homie kudos for making an adamant attempt to relate to his current players as well as his potential new ones but damn is this the only way to get shit done these days?. Though I do like it to a degree I have to ask myself if there’s any real meaning for rap music these days. I mean twenty-five or thirty years ago the culture was birthed because the urban hoods in America badly needed a mouthpiece. Now you have college basketball coaches using the art form as a way to persuade hoopers to come and don their uniforms. Fuck!
As if a college basketball coach trying his hand at rapping wasn’t enough I also came across this video of a pornstar trying his hand at mic, and not only did he rap, this fool made an entire video. Guess what, it had hot chicks and cars in it just like a real rap video. This cat Brian pumper was the dude who was supposedly the gay Lloyd Banks look-a-like and for some reason Rick Ross got mixed up in the whole situation and so the dick sanger is going after Rawse.
While I respect the effort and the imagery I personally think he definitely could have just let Lloyd Banks or 50 Cent or Tony Yayo handle the rappin and he could have just made a simple appearance in the video or something along those lines. I mean after you watch this shit you will be laughing your ass off at his complete lack of a stich of any rap skills. This shit right here just might give him the label of a habitual line crosser.
So really I guess the point of today’s lesson is that hip-hop really fuckin sucks right about now. Last year I thought that it seemed like just anybody was trying to rap. This year it seems to be very evident that everyone is trying to rap. So instead of wasting more time writing for this website I’m gonna go ahead and let ya’ll know that my album is comin in December of 2010 on Pissonyourbitchaandhermomma.com Records. It’s gonna be hot. Plus I got like ten or twelve mixtapes ready to go right now!
