Dom Kennedy – Showtime

Now correct me if I’m wrong but for some reason or another I’m guessing that this cat is from somewhere out in Cali. I don’t know if it was all the yellow and gold or if it was the hood ass video shoot in front of the Staples Center (which just happens to be where the Lakers play basketball and where the Clippers enhance their chances of landing a lottery pick once every year) that ultimately tipped me off. In my opinion Dom Kennedy has nothing about him that would make me think that he was a rapper then again a lot of these modern day rappers fit that non-rapper look category. I guess I got a little off subject here, what I meant to say was that his song is pretty decent given the fact that he doesn’t even look like an authentic rapper!
