WTF Is The Game Thinking
Posted on Jul 10 in Headlineby adminPrint

Ok, I’m thinking to myself “The Game is about to fuck his entire career up.” Everybody pretty much gets one “get out of jail free” card and Game has already seemed to have gotten about 50. Speaking of 50, yes Game did kick his ass for the better part of two years. If 50 would have responded I would have to say that Game would have still gotten him.
Now, this whole Jay-Z thing on the other hand is a completely different story. Keep in mind that the only reason that people think that Nas’ “Ether” was the best diss song ever was because of the beat. Not to say that Nas didn’t bring anything to the table lyrically. It’s just that Ron Browz did his bamn thing on the boards that night.
Back to The Game, you know, Jay-Z hasn’t even seemed all too intent on dissing less caliber rappers thee days. You never really heard him say anything about Cam’ron or Jim Jones or any of the other disgruntled ex-Dipset employees did you? Honestly, I don’t see him really going after The Game either.
You see, Jay-Z has made the millions he’s made and enjoyed the longevity in the game because he is smart. The Game knows damn well that Jay didn’t really diss his ass but for some reason or another he is sure that some new beef will help his sales next time he comes out. I guess people are really starting to look at the 50 Cent vs. Rick Ross strategy as a legit way to sell more records.
The funniest thing will be if Jay just decides to say fuck dissing the Game and just keeps it moving. I personally think that that would be a bigger slap in the face than any lyrics could be. That would in essence be saying that Jay-Z doesn’t even respect The Game’s lyrical capabilities. Which by all accounts he shouldn’t!
By my calculations The Game is only three mediocre albums in so far. I lost most of my respect for him when he came out with the first album and called it a classic on each song. Classic albums are judged by public opinion, not the artist own. Classic albums are the ones that people still listen to such as The Chronic, Life After Death, All Eyez On Me, The Blueprint, and or Doggystyle. Ask yourself when was the last time you listened to a Game CD? It’s been a minute hasn’t it!
