BG Speaks To XXL Mag Halfway Sober This Time

I’m not sure if anybody else still has the DVD but the last time that BG did an interview with XXL Magazine he was high as a kite on that shit. This time around things look to be just a little different! Sort of like he might not be doin nothing but weed nowadays. Anyhow, these two clips show BG giving some insight on his current situation with Atlantic Records. He explains how they’ve basically dicked around and fucked off his project for the better part of two years. Finally the official release date looks to be December 8, which from the looks of it is going to be one of the biggest release dates of the year. For people like you and me it merely means that all that shit will hit the net by the first of da month! In all honesty I’ll end up buying BG’s latest albums when it hits the shelves!

I must say that it’s a big coincidence that Chamillionaire just happens to pop up with a brand new video right after I spoke about him the other day. I guess all his internet grinding is paying off in dividends as evidenced by all the pricey ass shit in his latest video! Maybe next time he just won’t rub it in everyone elses face right in the middle of a recession… or is that bullshit over with yet?

Maybe hearing at least one rapper speak intelligently about the internet is just what I needed to renew my faith in the genre. Thankfully something compelled me to sit through all 46 minutes of this Podcast between Chamillionaire and Quincy Jones III at Stanford University. If you’re either an up and coming rapper, trapper, or internet junkie you might want to sit this one through… you might just learn a little something.
